What is a medical examination?
It is the examination that is carried out to find out the state of health of a person, which consists of:
Anamnesis
It is the grouping of subjective data, relating to a patient, which includes family and personal history, signs and symptoms experienced in his illness, experiences and, in particular, memories, which are used to analyze his clinical situation.
Physical exploration
It is the set of procedures that the doctor performs on the patient, to obtain a set of objective data or signs that are related to the reason for consultation referred to by the patient.
Complementary tests
It is a diagnostic test requested by the doctor, to confirm or rule out a clinical diagnosis.
Complementary tests must be requested for a specific clinical indication, they must serve to diagnose the state of health we are in.
